Objective
To provide financial assistance to the students with disabilities studying pre-matric Courses i.e., from Class I to X in Government or Govt. recognized schools to enable them to complete their education.
Services Delivered
1. Scholarships are sanctioned @ Rs.700/- for I to V class students,@ Rs.1000/- for VI to VIII class students & Rs.1820/- for IX to X class students per academic year
2. Travelling allowance @ Rs.500/- & Rs.250/- for maintenance of prosthetic aids for locomotor disability students to I to X class students
3. Reader allowance @ Rs.250/- to I to VIII class students and @ Rs.500/- to IX to X class for visually impaired students
Eligibility
1. Students with disabilities belonging to Telangana State who are pursuing Pre-Matric Courses in Government and Govt. recognised Institutions in Telangana.
2. Annual income of parent/guardian is below Rs.1,00,000/- per annum.
